The right fly rod for shore fishing is a one hand rod of 9-9.5 foot in line class 7/8. A light, but fast class 5 or 6 rod is also a possibility if you are an experienced fly fisher. It is important to have a quick action rod. A soft full action rod is not ideal for the windy coasts of Fyn.
